Wildlife Trek

All Ages. Tickets are not required for 0-2 years old. 

A separate admission ticket or membership is required for Safari Park entry; parking is not included.

This tour involves about 60 minutes of walking, on established pathways with moderate slopes. Comfortable attire, walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are recommended.

Strollers and mobility devices are permitted. Guests with mobility considerations should please call (619) 718-3000 to inform us of their needs. 

For the safety of our wildlife and the comfort of our guests, selfie sticks, and tripods (except tripods used as monopods) are not permitted. Snacks and drinks are permitted; closed-lid containers are recommended. Water is recommended.  Guests may be asked to put food and drinks away/aside temporarily in certain wildlife areas.

Restrooms are not available along the tour route. Guests are advised to use the restroom before tour begins.

Service animals are permitted. Some areas may be sensitive or restricted to service animals.

Wildlife viewing is subject to change based on availability.

Walking with Elephants is an all-weather event, however during periods of inclement weather please call 619-718-3000 to check the status of your tour. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park reserves the right to cancel or reroute a tour due to inclement weather, wildlife health, and/or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later tour.

Change/Cancellations: Reservations may be changed up to 3 days before the program. Changes made 3 days or less prior to the program are not permitted. Cancellations received more than 3 days before the scheduled program are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. Cancellations made 3 days or less prior to the program, payment is non-refundable.
