    Age Range: School & Youth Nights are for students in grades 3 through 12, with adult chaperones, as well as youth groups such as YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs, FFA, 4-H, Cub Scouts, Church Groups, etc.  Girl Scouts must book a designated Girl Scout night.

    Adult-child Ratio for School & Youth Nights: Adults may not attend without students or youth group members.  Number of adults may not exceed number of student/child/youth participantsThere must be at least one adult chaperone per tent. Students/youth may not sleep in a tent without an adult chaperone. A chaperone is defined as an adult 18 years of age or older and no longer a high school student. Any student, regardless of age or maturity, is not considered a chaperone and will not satisfy the ratio requirement. Adults who have not been designated by the school/teacher/organization as an official chaperone may not attend. Siblings are permitted only if they are in grades 3 – 18 (i.e., no siblings younger than third grade).  Girl Scouts must book a designated Girl Scout night.

    Change/Cancellation: Reservations may be changed up to 30 days before the program and will be subject to a $15 Administrative Change Fee. Less than 30 days, changes not permitted. Cancellations received 30 days before scheduled program are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. Less than 30 days, payment is non-refundable. 



  • Bring your students or youth groups to the Safari Park for a sleepover they will never forget! During your group’s adventure, they will hear impactful stories of San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s conservation work around the globe, while exploring the Park and enjoying camp activities. Your group will get an experience they cannot get in any classroom! 

    What you’ll do:

    • Explore the Safari Park after dark.
    • Learn how San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is saving wildlife around the globe.
    • Enjoy camping activities such as night hikes and s’mores around the campfire.
    • See some of the Safari Park’s most notable species on a private Africa Tram.
    • Stay overnight at the Safari Park.
    • And more!
