All schools in San Diego County only should fill out the form below to request their field trip dates to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

To be eligible for field trip rates for San Diego County schools, schools must reside in San Diego County and are able to abide by SDZWA Education Program policies.

Lunch storage is available at the Safari Park in the Log Ring, located outside the Park entrance. Please note, the cubbies in the Log Ring do not lock. No coolers/food storage containers larger than a 6-pack size are permitted on grounds.

Private Africa Tram

Tours available Monday-Friday. Each tram accommodates up to 70 people and costs $350 per tram. Join us for a private narrated, 25-minute expedition viewing our diverse wildlife who live in the savanna habitats, giving you a chance to connect with wildlife on a closer level. Limited departures available at this special rate reserved for school-affiliated groups. Must reserve one month in advance. Cancellation fee applies.
