AUTUMN FESTIVAL

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park celebrates the season of color with amazing wildlife, special entertainment, and culinary comforts that create heartwarming memories and good old-fashioned family fun. The following are included with Safari Park admission or membership:

SAFARI BASE CAMP

  • Inside turnstiles, adjacent to Safari Outfitters

“Harvest the Owl” welcomes guests throughout the month of October, and makes for a perfect photo spot to kick off your day or end your Autumn Festival visit to the Safari Park.

Safari Park Radio 197.2

  • Safari Base Camp

Safari Park Radio 197.2 returns, broadcasting an upbeat, modern country soundtrack that will make you want to jump up and line dance at Safari Base Camp.

NAIROBI VILLAGE

Everyone's favorite animated Zebra will interact and greet guests of all ages, and educate and inform them in a fun and playful way about wildlife and the environment.

Our Not-so-Scary Scarecrows lead this hoedown full of interactive country dances and fun for guests of all ages.

Join this musical trio as they perform traditional country and bluegrass favorites.

Our playful and interactive characters will meet and greet guests, as well as encourage them to venture into the Village Playground.

Young Explorers will love navigating through this experience as they seek out clues to find Southwest wildlife, and make their way through all the twists and turns.

What better way to end your Autumn Festival evening than by watching floating, flickering lanterns as they dance in this choreographed, original musical journey around the world.
