Encountering a herd of elephants is an incredible experience. We invite you to spend unforgettable moments walking alongside them at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Your adventure begins at the Herb Garden (near Kilima Point and map locater #15).

Each of the herd’s eight African savanna elephants has a story to tell. Look closer and discover their dynamic social behaviors, powerful movements, and strong bonds. What else will you see?
