Butterflies and Friends—Limited Time Only! (Beginning March 10)
Enjoy exclusive early morning, guided access to our most popular springtime attraction: Butterfly Jungle! Your guided audio walking tour begins at 8:15 a.m., with crowd-free viewing of butterflies from all over the world before Butterfly Jungle opens to the public. Next, we'll visit our cozy Rodrigues fruit bat exhibit and learn about our high-flying, furry friends—Earth's major fruit and nut seed dispersers and flower pollinators. From there, you'll get an up-close opportunity to meet some exotic birds and their trainers, providing more wonderful photo ops! You may even get to meet Patrick the sugar glider, a small, nocturnal marsupial from Australia that was about the size of a grain of rice when he was born! Reserve now—space is limited, and there are only a few select days to see these exotic creatures up close on this unique two-hour walking tour!

Tiger and Friends
Get a rare look behind the scenes at Tiger Trail to learn how we care for our magnificent tigers! Your adventure will also include a journey around the Park’s multispecies field enclosures to view African and Asian animals, an up-close animal encounter, a walk through Tiger Trail, and a visit to our off-exhibit tiger keeper area. About 20 to 45 minutes of walking or standing is required.
Lion and Friends
Join your tour guide behind the scenes at Lion Camp to learn how we care for our lion pride! Your adventure will include an up-close animal encounter, a visit to our off-exhibit lion keeper area, and a journey to view African and Asian animals in the Park’s multispecies field enclosures. About 20 to 45 minutes of walking or standing is required.
Cheetah and Friends
Venture behind the scenes at Benbough Amphitheater to meet one of our cheetahs! Learn more about cheetah conservation and how we care for the Safari Park’s cheetahs, enjoy an up-close encounter with one of the Safari Park’s other animals, and journey around multispecies field enclosures to view a variety of African and Asian animals.

Take an inside look at the Safari Park's Paul Harter Veterinary Medical Center, and learn about the history of veterinary services at the Park. You'll see the state-of-the-art facilities we use to provide our animals with the best of care.
