Safari Park Flightline Program Advisements
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is located at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027
Check-In: 15 minutes prior to departure at the Flightline Safari ticket booth, located in the Nairobi Village
Minimum Ages
Adults and children ages 8 and older only. Children ages 8 to 15 must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian 18 years or older during the entire Flightline experience. Guests ages 16 to 17 participating alone must have a parent or guardian 18 years or older present at the check-in to sign the liability waiver. To participate in Flightline Safaris, participants must complete a liability waiver, and understand and follow instructions in English.
Adult/Child Ratio: Maximum of 3 children ages 8 to 15 per adult.
Weight: Participants must weigh between 60 and 300 pounds and fit comfortably in the harness.
Height: All participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 48” tall.
Footwear: Secure, closed-toed shoes are required.
Other Considerations: No alcohol may be consumed by a participant prior to taking a Flightline Safari.
Additional Considerations: Guests must be able to climb and descend stairs without assistance. Accommodation can be made with 24-hour minimum notice. Please contact Reservations Sales at 619-718-3000 for options.
ALL Flightline Safaris:
A separate admission ticket or membership is required for Safari Park entry. Safari Park parking is not included and is paid upon arrival.
Change/ Cancellation:
Reservations may be changed up to 3 days before the program. Changes made 3 days or less prior to the program are not permitted.
Cancellations received more than 3 days before the scheduled program are subject to a $25 Cancellation Fee. Cancellations made 3 days or less prior to the program, payment is non-refundable.
Flightline is an all-weather event; however, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park reserves the right to cancel or reroute a tour due to inclement weather, animal health, and/or safety concerns.
For the safety of our animals and the comfort of our guests, outside food and beverages, selfie sticks, and tripods (except tripods used as monopods) are not permitted. Drinking water in closed-lid containers is recommended.
For the health and safety of wildlife, service animals are not permitted on this tour due to the sensitive nature of these animals and the restricted access of these habitats and buildings.
