This unique marsupial serve as an ambassador for the species outside of their native Australia and communicate the importance of fresh water for both humans and wildlife. We’re honored to be entrusted with their care.
Day and night are reversed in our habitat because platypus are most active at nighttime. But when it's night in San Diego, the lights come up, and you can see them in their daytime pool.
