Grades 5-6: 5-Day Full-Day Camp

Behaving Wildly

Every animal action, from an instinct to something they’ve learned, is a behavior. What does it mean when a gazelle wags its tail? What helps a cheetah run so fast? How do tigers keep cool on a hot day? What actions can I take to help animals? Campers will explore the answers to these questions and more, while watching wildlife at the Safari Park. Understanding animal behavior is an important part of caring for animals. Behind-the-scenes visits, campers-only presentations with animal ambassadors, games, hands-on activities and more await you this summer.
